How we compare
The whole value of this site is that you can check it. Here is exactly how it is put together.
Every figure is the lender’s own
Amounts, terms, rates and eligibility are taken from what the lender publishes, each row links to the page it came from, and each carries the date we read it. Where a lender does not publish a figure, the row says so (“priced per quote”) rather than showing an invented number.
Representative, not promised
Business lending is priced per borrower on risk. A representative APR is what at least 51% of accepted borrowers get; a “rates from” figure is a floor for the strongest applicants. Neither is a quote, and we say so on every table.
What we will not do
We will not publish a rate we have only seen on a third party’s page as if it were sourced; it goes in a clearly-marked “still verifying” list until we confirm it. We will not rank lenders by what pays us, because nothing pays us. And we will not tell you which loan to take, because that depends on facts about your business we cannot see.
