Find a lender, with a broker to do the searching

Tell us about your company and what you need. With your permission, we pass your request to a specialist business finance broker, who contacts you and searches the market for you. It is free to use, and we may be paid by the broker for the introduction.

  • Free to use
  • Registered companies only
  • A broker contacts you
  • We may be paid by the broker

Before you start: how this works and how we are paid. Businesses Funding is a comparison site published by Domain Farm Ltd. It is not a lender, not a broker and not authorised by the FCA, and it gives information, not advice. This form is an introduction service: if you send it, Domain Farm Ltd passes your details to a UK business finance broker we work with and is paid a fee by the broker for the introduction. It costs you nothing. The fee does not change the comparison tables, rates or calculators on this site: no lender can pay to be listed, moved or reworded. See how we make money. Only limited companies, LLPs and PLCs registered at Companies House can use this form.

Lender names and logos elsewhere on this site are trademarks of their respective owners, shown only to identify each lender. We have no endorsement or commercial relationship with any lender shown. Company data: Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

What happens after you send it

Three steps, and you stay in control of each.

1. You tell us

Your company (from Companies House), what you need, and how to reach you. Nothing is sent until you tick the consent box in the last step.

2. We pass it on

With your consent we send your request to a UK business finance broker we work with. We do not send it to anyone else, and we do not sell it on.

3. The broker contacts you

A specialist reviews your request and contacts you by phone or email. We cannot say how quickly: that depends on the broker. Any offer comes from the broker or a lender, never from us, and you are free to say no.

What we do not do. We do not take applications, arrange finance, give advice or carry out a credit check. The comparison tables and calculators on this site are unchanged by this form. Method on how we compare.

What we take from Companies House, and how it is used

Only the company’s own public record. You can change any of it before you send.

When you press Send, our server checks the company number again at Companies House so the broker receives a verified record. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Source: Companies House.

What happens to what you type

While you fill it in, the only thing that leaves your browser is the company name or number you type, which goes to Companies House through our server. When you tick the consent box and press Send, your answers are sent to our server, stored for 12 months, sent to us by email and private message and passed to a UK business finance broker we work with. We use no cookies and no analytics, and we do not store your IP address with your request.

The full detail, including your rights and how to ask us to delete your request, is on the privacy page.

What this is not

It is not a credit check, an application or advice, and we are not a lender or a broker. No lender pays to appear in our tables or to be ordered higher; the only payment described on this site is the fee a broker pays for an introduction. When you want to apply directly, every lender card links to the lender’s own page.

Frequently asked questions

Who will contact me?

A specialist business finance broker: a UK business finance broker we work with. They will phone or email you using the details you give, to talk through what you need and to search the market for you. We cannot say how quickly: that depends on the broker.

Does it cost me anything?

Not to use this form. Domain Farm Ltd, which publishes this site, is paid a fee by the broker for the introduction. Ask the broker how it is paid, and what it will charge you, before you agree to anything.

How does Businesses Funding make money, and does that affect the comparison tables?

If you ask for an introduction through this form, Domain Farm Ltd is paid a fee by the broker. That is the only income described on this site. It does not touch the tables: no lender can pay to be listed, moved or reworded, and the rates and calculators are the same whether or not anyone uses this form. The page on how we make money has the detail.

Is this a credit check or an application for finance?

No. We do not carry out a credit check and this is not an application. We are not a lender and not a broker. The broker, and any lender it approaches, will explain what they need and run their own checks before any decision.

Why can only registered companies use it?

This introduction service is for limited companies, LLPs and PLCs, which are on the Companies House register and can be checked there. Sole traders, partnerships and businesses that have not started yet are not on that register, so the form does not collect their details. Our guides and calculators are open to everyone.

Where does the company information come from?

From the Companies House public register, through its official API. We only ask for the company's own record: name, number, status, type, incorporation date, registered office town and postcode, industry code, whether accounts are overdue and whether charges are registered. We never ask for directors, officers or the people who control it.

What happens to my details, and can I change my mind?

Nothing is sent anywhere until you tick the consent box and press Send. Your request is then kept for 12 months and passed to the broker. You can withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete your request, at any time by emailing editor@businessesfunding.co.uk. The privacy page has the full detail.
